Lipstick Base

Our Lipstick Base is a structured cosmetic base designed to help formulators create smooth, mouldable lipsticks. The base provides the wax and structural components needed for firmness, stability, and glide, while allowing you to customize the final product with oils and pigments of your choice.

Please note that this product is not a ready-to-use lipstick. It must be blended with additional oils and pigments to create a finished lipstick formulation.

Suggested Lipstick Formulation Example

You can use the following guideline to create a basic lipstick:

• 35% Lipstick Base

• 17.75% Glycerine

• 17.75% Capric Triglyceride

• 17.75% Castor Oil

• 11.75% Pigment/colour blend/MRK Lip Liquid

Melt the Lipstick Base together with the oils, mix thoroughly, add your pigments, and stir until the colour is fully dispersed. Pour the mixture into lipstick moulds and allow it to cool and set.

This base allows formulators to easily create customized lipsticks with different colours, finishes, and oil combinations.
