Brown Iron Oxide

Brown Iron Oxide is a finely milled mineral pigment that provides a rich, earthy brown tone with excellent depth and coverage.

How to Use:

Adjust Color and Consistency: Brown Iron Oxide needs to be blended with other pigments to create custom shades or to deepen and warm existing colors. Vary the amount used to control intensity—use smaller amounts for softer, more natural tones and higher amounts for deeper, more opaque color. Gradually add the pigment blend to your melted base while stirring continuously. Ensure the base is warm enough for smooth incorporation but not excessively hot, as high heat may affect heat-sensitive ingredients.

Blend Thoroughly: Make sure the pigment blend is evenly distributed throughout the base to achieve a smooth, uniform finish. Any streaks or uneven areas can be corrected through thorough mixing, shearing, or high-speed blending.
